I am a Hero!
Look up the word ‘Hero’ in the dictionary. What is a hero? Write your own definition.
1. What is something heroic that you have done?
When you are answering this question, think about your definition of a hero. Also think about the people you identified in task 1 as a hero.
Someone who wins a bravery award is a hero becuase they risk their own life to save the life of another.
A hero could also be someone who has invented something to help other people.
You could be a hero when you do something that you have found scary or difficult.
2. Why do people do heroic things?
3. Would you like to complete/perform a heroic act one day? If so what would it be?
Compare your answers with the other students. Add as many responses as you like. Comment on what heroic acts other people in the class would like to undertake.
